On August 17, 2017, the "KOURITES" Folklore Society organized an event at the Aetoudakeio outdoor history and culture park in Atsipopoulos, Rethymno. There, they revived the professions, folk arts, and traditions of Crete and presented the Cretan women's cape of 1920 for the first time.
