Following a request conveyed to him by the Greek embassy, ​​Pattakomanolis provided olive oil for the ceremony of Saint Myros in the Armenian Church. In September 2015, after an honorary invitation from the Patriarch of the Armenians, Mr. Karekin II, Pattakomanolis, his wife Marina, their two sons, Nikos and Giorgis, and Fragkiskos Dandoulakis traveled to Armenia to attend the Saint Myros ceremony. On this occasion, he gave as a gift a knife dedicated to the people of Armenia for the warriors of Nikiforos Fokas who helped liberate Crete.
