In May 2018, after thirty years of contribution to the cultural events of our country, KOURITES made a pilgrimage to Mount Athos. They were welcomed in the Holy Monastery of Pantokrator by Elder Gabriel. During their stay, Pattakomanolis offered Elder Gabriel the twin "knives" of Alexandria, identical to those given to our compatriot Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and all Africa, Theodore II. The group was accompanied by members of the traditional group of Nea Kydonia. Altogether, they sang a traditional song written by the theologian Mr. Riginiotis Theodoros.
