The Pancretan Association, under the chairmanship of Giorgis Maridakis, honored the Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and President of the Association of Friends of Children with Cancer "ELPIDA," Mrs. Marianna V. Vardinogiannis. The special event took place on March 9, 2011, at the hotel Grand Bretagne Athens. The "KOURITES" Folklore Society was also invited to the event, where they were admired for their musical and dancing performances.
