In April 2010, they were invited to participate in the celebrations of March 25, organized by the expatriates of Detroit. It was the first time that Crete was an officially honored region. The most notable gifts were the icon of the Four Martyrs they left in the church of Hagia Sophia and a carved silver knife for the newly established museum created in Detroit. This knife was the first knife with Arkadi symbol carved on it.
