In July 2004, at an event in Heraklion for the Cretan Olympic winners, KOURITES presented the Minoan dance for the first time. This dance is not accompanied by music. The purpose of the women's dance is to remind the priestesses of the Minoan era, and the men's dance is to remind them the dance of the ancient Kourites.
